This week New York has been experiencing major heat waves of up to 96 degrees! How does team OVERT handle the sweltering weather… with a glass of rosè of course. We sat down in Tiny’s NYC with Refinery29 Fashion Market Editor, Rachel Besser, over a glass of her fav rosè- Whispering Angel and put her to our speed dating test.

1. Current Netflix obsession?
My Netflix obsession is and has always TINYSNYCbeen Hayao Miyazaki movies, especially my favorite movie My Neighbor Totoro.

2. Your go-to lipstick color?
Nude or none, the maintenance of a lipstick drives me crazy.

3. Describe New York in 3 words?
Fast, Addictive, Intense

4. Sandals or Sneakers?

5. Worst Habit?
Forgetting my keys at home.

6. Your everyday mantra?

7. Your day vs night perfume scent?
I wear nada in the day. At night it’s Diptique Geranium Odorata.

8. Most used emoji?
Prob the crying emoji sans tears.

9. What’s currently on your music playlist?
Lil’ Uzi Vert, T-Pain (the godfather), Blu and Exile, and probably still Yachty.

TINYSNYC10. Favorite pizza topping?
So many pepperonis… I want the whole thing covered in them.

11. Current trend you hate?
I don’t like anything that looks too bloggery and overdone.

12. If you could have coffee with anyone, who would it be?
Tough q… off the top of my head Neil deGrasse Tyson.

13. 3 must have essentials in your bag?
A bottle of water because I’m dehydrated. I went to the doc for a physical two weeks ago and when she took my blood, she said it was “moving really slow” because of how dehydrated I am. Gross. 2. A hairbrush and a mini bottle of hairspray. I get MAD fly aways. If I’m out all day and night, throwing my hair into a sleek pony is a savior. 3. An extra pair of clothes because I like to be a nomad and sleepover at my best friend’s places on a whim.

14. How do you stay informed?
Depends on the topic. I’m always reading during the day, but our R29 Fashion slack group is basically a chat room on what’s up.

15. If you could describe yourself as a cocktail, what would you be?
A long island iced tea? I can’t believe I’m about to say this because the comparison is about to be a cringe festival, but I have a ton of interests that traditionally seem like they wouldn’t fit together, much like the ingredients of a LI iced tea (omg stop me now). The flavor is odd and strong, and if you can hang wit it, the end result is drunk. Which is the whole point, no?
